Our story
Fifty-one years, one workbench
My grandfather set up a single counter near Sultan Bazaar in 1974 with two karigars and a scale. The scale is still on the counter.
Everything we sell is made within forty kilometres of this shop, most of it upstairs. The same four families of karigars have worked with us for three generations, which is why a haaram bought here in 1990 can still be repaired here by the man who made it.
Every piece is BIS-hallmarked and weighed in front of you before it is boxed. We will also tell you when not to buy: if a design will not sit well on you, or the making charge is not worth it for what you want, we say so.
